Alright, so since we only have three people who registered for the swap, we're gonna do away with the secret swap this time around. Sorry I haven't posted them on-time, but I figured I'd give the weekend since I had to ask for more info. Anywho, tomorrow I'll get the assignments to folks, watch your inboxes.

Also, I've spruced up the community info a bit. Not done yet, but an improvement. Check it out!

Just a reminder to some of you, joining the communnity isn't enough to sign up for a swap, you have to "register" too! Leave a comment here with the appropriate information, because without it, I can't pair you off! Thanks! :)

Now, something funny and cute, just because :)Collapse )

If you're having trouble coming up with ideas for your cards, here are a few suggestions to get things moving...

~ Try reading through the material I put up there and letting it gel for a while, before you even put pen to paper, or finger to mouse as the case may be.

~ If you have a Tarot deck, pull out each of the two cards and meditate on them seperately. If you don't have one, save/print out a picture of them that you like and use that instead.

~ Put the cards, one at a time, under your pillow for three nights each.

~ Do some written brainstorming, starting with any keywords from the resources I gave and see where your free association takes you.

~ Cut out pictures from magazines, newspapers, etc., that seem to you like they express the cards' meanings and make a collage (either as your card, or just for inspiration's sake).

Anyone have other suggestions? Please, feel free to share!
